About Daemonik Fonce

Debut album “Eye Love DaemöniK Fonce” is released on St. David’s Day, March 1st 2022 via Property Of The Lost. Here, bucolic wonderment, knowing absurdism, outrageous riffola & heavy personality collide from orbits as diverse as The Sex Pistols, Linton Kwesi Johnson, Thin Lizzy, John Cooper Clarke, Hawkwind, The Ronettes, Buzzcocks and Magazine.

Debut single “Autumnal Fix”, a psychedelic romp through the park, dropped from the tree in September and it’s follow-up, ‘Game Changer’ has been picking up plays on 6music and BBC Radio Wales.

ψ When Welsh twins and kings of the road, Stewart & Paul Summers (Ten Benson / The Sharp Tongues) started some experimental recordings combining psychedelia, poetry, glam and punk rock, the encouraging results got them thinking. So, recruiting old touring comrades Sam Mansbridge (The Rumblestrips – bass), Hanna Edgren (Tits Of Death – keys & vocals) and Gui Rujao (Los Pepes – drums), DaemöniK Fonce were made form.

Invited to support bands including Sea Power & Jim Jones and the Righteous Mind, the transformation from home studio project to fully fledged jaw dropping live band was complete. At the suggestion of Rough Trade’s Sean Forbes, the band decamped to Newport’s West Sounds Studios in South Wales. Working with Richard Jackson (previous production credits include Gruff Rhys, Dub War, Martin Carr, Future Of The Left) they have produced an album of kaleidoscopic inspirations, brilliant absurdist rock theatre and terrifically purple imagination.
